Doing some research while floating in the Dead Sea. It’s high salt content means it’s impossible to sink! The water makes the skin feel silky smooth/slimy. The ritual is to cover yourself, after an initial dip, in Dead Sea mud. Wait for it to dry and then go back in to wash it off. Definitely an experience and one that may be gone in 50 years as both Jordan and Israel now divert the water that used to run into the Dead Sea, into dams instead so it’s drying up fast. #deadsea #travel #jordan (at Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea - Jordan)
