Was rather spellbound by this beautiful piece of art titled Girl in a Green Dress currently on display at the Louvre Abu Dhabi. This oil on wood painting is the work of Polish artist Tamara de Lempicka and painted around 1927-30. It combines cubist Art Deco with references to Italian portraits of the 16th Century. For me I’d say the reference is even earlier.
