We found wine in Myanmar! There are apparently only two vineyards in Myanmar and both are in the Inle region which is cooler. We did a tasting of the sauvignon blanc, a sweet late harvest 2016 made from muscat grapes, pinot noir 2013 and syrah reserve 2013. Loved the syrah. The muscat was good too. Pinot noir tasted like sherry. Overall very surprising in a good way and great sunset spot, too. #redmountainwinery #wine #travel #myanmar (at Red Mountain Vineyard and Winery)
